ePaper – autonomous solution for passenger information
The DFI ePaper display is the ideal solution for displaying departure boards, network maps, service information, or other public transport information at locations with low energy supply or limited space. It forms the heart of our DFI Micro Solar, but can also be flexibly integrated into customer-specific housings. In combination with a self-sufficient device, the ePaper can be operated completely without a power connection – ideal for remote or less frequented bus stops.
Variants of the display in portrait and landscape format
The 13.3-inch screen offers clear black-and-white display with 16 shades of gray, ensuring good readability even in direct sunlight. The robust front made of laminated safety glass is anti-reflective, anti-fingerprint, and particularly easy to clean — perfect for public spaces and demanding environments.
The ePaper enables unimpeded access to information: high-contrast display, good visibility, and optional audio output support people with impaired vision. A stop-on-demand function can also be integrated to further increase accessibility.
